Towel Cover Up

For our vacation, I wanted my girls to have a towel cover up. After looking at some at the store, I decided I could make one that is cuter! :) I found this cute beach towel and went to work. I am very happy with the finished project. ...Now to find some time to make a smaller one for the baby.

Something New for Dinner - Chicken Primavera with Pasta

Are you tired of making the same things for dinner? I am. I signed up to 'host' a Philadelphia Cooking Creme Party. Due to everyone getting sick in our house, I was not able to have an actual taste party for the New Philadelphia Cooking Creme. I plan to have one in April when things calm down a bit. I did make the Chicken Primavera with Pasta and it will be something that I can make again. It is super easy to make! Always a plus with 3 young children :)

What you need:
1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
2 cups frozen stir-fry vegetables (broccoli, carrots, red peppers, snow peas)
1 tub (10 oz.) Philadelphia Italian Cheese and Herb Cooking Creme
2 cups hot cooked fettuccine

Make it:
Cook and stir chicken in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 5 to 6 minutes or until done.
Add vegetables and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
Add cooking creme, cook and stir 3 minutes.
Stir in pasta.

2-2 4 a 4 yr old

My daughter had a tutu that she wore all the time. It was one with a few layers of tulle attached to leggings. She outgrew it awhile ago so I decided to make her a new one for her 4th birthday. She was thrilled. Happy 4th Birthday!

A Way to Carry

When my youngest was born, she loved to be carried. With 2 older siblings, we were always on the go. I have a sling carrier, but she didn't really enjoy it. So, I borrowed a front carrier from a friend. Blessing! As my baby got heavier, this front carrier was hurting me when I used it. This carrier is only recommended up to 25 lbs and can only be used for front carry. I decided to make my own carrier after finding some examples online. The carrier I made can be used on front facing in or out and on my back.
This is the final project.

Dress for a 1st Birthday

I've been bitten by the crafty bug. I felt that my youngest needed something to wear to make her 1 st birthday special. My first thought was to put the number 1 on a shirt. I didn't have a plain white shirt in her size. So, I grabbed 2 shirts that my older daughter could no longer wear and cut them down to fit my youngest. After remaking the shirt and adding a 1, I decided to add a ruffle to make it a dress. Then I thought it needed something more, so another ruffle. I also added the little flower. I also picked out the pink/purple flower headband that I made a few months ago.

Dragon

For my son's magical 6th birthday, he asked for a dragon. He told me the colors that he wanted. I made this cake from 2 round 8" cakes.
